HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM A REGULAR GYM ?
Most gyms are crowded, messy and the weight room can be intimidating. Here you will find members only, whether you are training in a small group or a private session you will have the entire facility to yourself. All of the members are working with Grant and following one of his programs. The gym and the programs are catered to people serious about achieving their goals, everyone knows each other, is friendly and encouraging.
WHY IS STRENGTH TRAINING IMPORTANT FOR WEIGHT LOSS?
Strength training has been proven to be the most effective method for losing weight. If you are not strength training you are getting weaker, the weaker you are, the lower your metabolic rate will be and the more susceptible to injury you will become. In the modern world Grant believes it is necessary that everyone is doing some form of strength training. Not only is it important for being healthy, it allows us to sculpt and change our bodies so we can be confident in our appearance.
WHY DO MOST PEOPLE FAIL AT LOSING WEIGHT?
Weight loss seems to have become this mythical ever changing secret that always involves the latest diet or exercise routine. It has been over complicated and the internet is filled with misinformation. If your dog was overweight and you wanted it to lose weight what would you do? You would walk it more and feed it less right ? Weight loss is really quite simple, the hard truth is that it's difficult, requires tremendous discipline, and takes longer than most people believe. There is no quick fix, no secret method, and since humans are biologically wired to seek out fattening foods and to conserve energy it goes against our natural desires. This is why its so important to develop a regular routine with people you enjoy that hold you accountable.
WHY WON'T MY GLUTES GROW?
Building muscle is difficult, takes time and requires a proper weight lifting routine. It is especially difficult for women, so having a routine that involves lifting heavy weights multiple times per week is essential. There are many ways to lift weights, body builders and power lifters use completely different routines, one produces more strength and the other larger muscles. So following the proper routine, eating enough food and enough protein will all be necessary. A large percent of Grant's clients have the goal of building bigger glutes, so he has developed programs and classes specific to this goal.
